On Thursday, June 18, at 6:00 p.m. E.T. with an encore at 9:00 p.m., Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) will stream a special performance on visibleink.vimeo.mskcc.org, highlighting poignant and humorous perspectives On Cancer and Coronavirus, featuring works from its writing program, Visible Ink. This will be the 12th annual performance of stories written by MSK patients, and the first presented virtually. Visible Ink has always worked with many participants remotely, so it was well positioned to continue to connect MSK patients with experienced writers to support their written expression.

Memorial Sloan Kettering – Hackensack Meridian Health Partnership Announces Funding for Inaugural Immunology Research Collaboration Projects

The Memorial Sloan Kettering – Hackensack Meridian Health Partnership has formed an Immunology Research Collaboration, through which researchers can apply for funding to support innovative investigations to explore the power of the immune system and ways it may be harnessed to fight cancer. Three researchers’ projects were selected in 2020 for funding support.

Two Memorial Sloan Kettering Scientists Elected to Esteemed National Academy of Sciences

Two researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s (MSK) Sloan Kettering Institute (SKI) have been elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). Scott Keeney, PhD, a molecular biologist, and Christopher Lima, PhD, a structural biologist, join more than a dozen MSK investigators who are already NAS members. SKI is the research enterprise of MSK, the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center. Members are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Membership is one of the highest honors bestowed upon scientists worldwide.
