Penn Medicine hospitals have once again been ranked among the top in the nation by U.S News & World Report. The combined enterprise of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is ranked #13 in the nation on the magazine’s prestigious annual Honor Roll for the 15th consecutive year. TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital ranked No. 2 among the country’s top rehabilitation hospitals in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospital rankings for 2021-2022. TIRR Memorial Hermann was previously ranked No. 3 in the 2020-2021 rankings, and has been included in the prestigious rankings since the report’s inception in 1989.

UC San Diego Health Ranked #1 by U.S. News & World Report

UC San Diego Health, the region’s only academic health system, is ranked #1 in San Diego and #5 in California, placing it among the nation’s best hospitals, according to the 2021-2022 U.S. News & World Report survey. UC San Diego Health was ranked in the top 50 in 10 specialties.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center Again Ranks Among Top U.S. Hospitals for Cardiovascular Care

MedStar Washington Hospital Center has again been recognized as one of the top 50 cardiovascular centers in the country. The Hospital Center’s Cardiology and Heart Surgery program moved up four spots from last year’s survey, to No. 37, in the 2020-21 U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” rankings. It also received the highest rating possible in aortic valve surgery, congestive heart failure, heart bypass surgery, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
