UCI is ranked among nation’s top 10 public universities for sixth year in a row

Irvine, Calif., Sept. 14, 2020 — The University of California, Irvine has been ranked eighth among the nation’s public universities in U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 list of “Best Colleges,” released today. This is the sixth consecutive year in which UCI has placed in the top 10. UCI placed 35th among all American universities – public and private – and rose to second in the subcategory of social mobility, which takes into account the graduation rate of students awarded Pell Grants.

UT Southwestern Ranked No. 1 Hospital In Dallas-Fort Worth By U.S. News & World Report, Adding to Multiple Recognitions in 2019

DALLAS – July 28, 2020 – UT Southwestern Medical Center is the No. 1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth – the nation’s fourth-largest metro area – and ranks among the top 50 hospitals nationally in 10 specialties ranging from brain to heart care, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Hospitals report released today. Six of the specialties rank in the top 25.

Penn Nursing Ranked #1 Nursing School for Fifth Straight Year

The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing (Penn Nursing) continues its streak of being the number one nursing school in the world according to a recent ranking by QS World University. The rankings highlight the world’s top universities in 48 different subject areas based on academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact. This is the fifth consecutive year that Penn Nursing has taken the top spot.

UCI is No. 1 among Money magazine’s ‘Best Colleges’

Irvine, Calif., Aug. 12, 2019 — Money magazine has ranked the University of California, Irvine No. 1 on its 2019-20 list of the nation’s “Best Colleges.” Knocking Princeton University off the top spot, this also makes UCI the first public university to achieve No. 1. The ranking is up from No. 3 last year and No. 7 in 2017, acknowledging UCI’s continued growth in providing accessible, high-quality education and fostering alumni success.
