MedStar Washington Hospital Center has again been recognized as one of the top 50 cardiovascular centers in the country by U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals.” MedStar Washington’s Cardiology, Heart & Vascular Surgery program is tied for the No. 33 spot nationwide in this year’s rankings by U.S. News. It is the only nationally recognized heart and vascular program of its kind in the Washington region. MedStar Washington was also rated as high performing in two adult specialties: Gastroenterology & GI Surgery and Geriatrics and 15 common procedures or conditions.

Ochsner Ranked #1 in Louisiana by U.S. News & World Report for 11th Consecutive Year

Today, U.S. News & World Report named Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans (OMC), including its Baptist and West Bank campuses, the Best Hospital in Louisiana for the 11th consecutive year. As part of the annual review, Ochsner and its partners also received more than 50 additional accolades by U.S. News, the global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice.

Northwestern Memorial Hospital retained its position as the No. 1 hospital in Illinois and Chicago and is again recognized among the top hospitals in the country ranking No. 10 on the prestigious “America’s Best Hospitals” Honor Roll by U.S. News & World Report in its 2021-2022 “America’s Best Hospitals” rankings.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is recognized as a national leader in ten specialties, according to the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” rankings released today. These 10 specialties are recognized as one of the top 50 programs in the nation. It’s Ohio State’s 29th consecutive year with nationally ranked specialties.

Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona is again ranked No. 1 in Arizona and the Phoenix metro area, and No. 18 nationally, by U.S. News & World Report. This marks the third time that Mayo Clinic has been recognized with two hospitals on U.S. News & World Report’s”Best Hospitals Honor Roll,” which includes the top 20 hospitals in the nation. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is ranked No. 1 nationally. The results were published July 30 on the U.S. News & World Report website.
