Jackiewicz, a leader with extensive experience in top academic health systems and medical schools, has been appointed the new president of the University of Chicago Medical Center and chief operating officer of the UChicago Medicine health system, succeeding Sharon O’Keefe, who earlier announced her plans to retire in July 2020.
