Binghamton University announces $37.5 million in new endowed scholarships

Thanks to a generous anonymous family, 25 incoming Binghamton University undergraduate students will receive scholarships per class year until the program reaches a steady state of 100 scholarships awarded per year.

Estée Lauder endowment will establish epigenetics fellowship at UCI

The University of California, Irvine today announced an endowment from Estée Lauder to establish an epigenetics fellowship in honor of the late Paolo Sassone-Corsi, Ph.D., who was UCI’s Donald Bren Professor of Biological Chemistry and director of the campus’s Center for Epigenetics and Metabolism.

Dr. Anne Rimoin Named to new Gordon–Levin Chair in Infectious Diseases and Public Health at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health

Dr. Anne Rimoin, an internationally recognized expert on emerging infections, global health, infectious disease surveillance systems and vaccinations who has been engaged in pandemic preparedness and response work for more than two decades, has been appointed to the newly established Gordon–Levin Endowed Chair in Infectious Diseases and Public Health at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
