New Brunswick, N.J. (March 18, 2020) – Rutgers University–New Brunswick Professor Brandon L. Alderman is available for interviews on how to stay active when gyms are closed and you’re confined to home during the COVID-19 crisis.
Alderman can also discuss the importance of physical activity to deal with stress and anxiety and to improve mental health.
“We are being asked to practice social distancing to protect ourselves and others. It is also critical during this time to practice self-care, and exercise is a fantastic way to reduce stress and anxiety while helping to bolster our immune system,” said Alderman, an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health in the School of Arts and Sciences.
