Hal S. Stern is named UCI provost and executive vice chancellor

Irvine, Calif., April 16, 2021 — Hal S. Stern, former dean of the Donald Bren School of Information & Computer Sciences and founding chair of the Department of Statistics, has been appointed provost and executive vice chancellor of the University of California, Irvine, effective immediately. He will report to Chancellor Howard Gillman.

Palo Alto University Appoints Erika R. N. Cameron, Ph.D. Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs

– Palo Alto University (PAU) announced today the appointment of Erika Cameron, Ph.D., to the position of Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, effective June 30, 2021. Stony Brook University Names Paul Goldbart as Executive Vice President and Provost

Paul Goldbart, PhD, has been appointed the new Executive Vice President and Provost, effective March 22, 2021, announced Stony Brook University President Maurie McInnis. Goldbart is currently Dean of the College of Natural Sciences, Robert E. Boyer Chair and Mary Ann Rankin Leadership Chair at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin).

Four UCI professors awarded Guggenheim Fellowships
