ALS Patients Find Hope in New Study Authored by AANEM Members
There is some hope on the horizon for patients diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. A record-breaking 1,666 people attended the 67th American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) Annual Meeting, which took place from October 7-10, 2020. For the first time, the AANEM Annual Meeting was held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
