Scientists to chart future of physics at Annual Leadership Meeting

Renowned leaders in physics, policy, and communication will meet online Thursday, February 4 and Saturday, February 6 to discuss the impact of the global pandemic and long-overdue reckoning with systemic racism on the future of science. Registration for the 2021 APS Annual Leadership Meeting is free and open to the public.

  • Physics faculty and administrators explore how physics departments can thrive in a post-pandemic world and increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field
  • APS CEO Jonathan Bagger and President Sylvester James Gates, Jr. premiere a documentary film about 2021 recipients of Society’s top honors
  • Early career award recipients deliver rapid fire talks about their research
