The Gulf of Mexico Alliance has released the Governors’ Action Plan IV for Healthy and Resilient Coasts, signed by the governors of all five Gulf states: Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. This is the fourth in a series of collaborative work plans that identifies priority issues, focus areas, and actions to enhance the environmental and economic health of the Gulf of Mexico.

Motiva Enterprises LLC Joins the Gulf of Mexico Alliance Gulf Star Program
The Gulf of Mexico Alliance is pleased to announce a new partnership with Motiva Enterprises LLC as they become the most recent organization to join the Alliance’s Gulf Star Program. Funding from Motiva will support marine debris work in the Gulf Coast region over the next four years.
Gulf of Mexico Alliance Announces New Gulf Star Projects
The Gulf of Mexico Alliance is pleased to share several new projects as part of its ongoing Gulf Star Program. This year’s projects focus on supporting coastal resilience, underrepresented and underserved communities, citizen science water and marine debris monitoring, living shorelines, wildlife conservation, and regional data sharing.
