“With new strains of coronavirus emerging around the world, it’s important for the public to understand what it means for the currently available vaccines, how the new strains are different or similar to existing strains, and how to handle physical distancing and prevention measures,” said Dr. Dong, a population health epidemiologist and geriatrician who has experience in vaccine clinical trials and community-based health education.
