The 15th annual list of the best health practitioners in the Seattle area showcases providers in 80 practice areas, as voted on by their peers. A total of 920 providers appear on the list.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners were named in 21 practice areas, with the majority of SCCA providers recognized in the fields of Breast and Cancer Surgery, Hematology/Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology.
“SCCA physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are known for their dedication to their patients and for delivering world-class care and treatment to those with cancer across our region, ” said Nancy E. Davidson, MD, president and executive director of SCCA. “Every year, but this one in particular, it is a great honor to have so many members of our multidisciplinary care teams recognized by Seattle Met for their work and for continuing to provide care during COVID-19 and the challenges this pandemic has presented for health professionals worldwide.”
This year’s complete list resulted from a poll conducted by Professional Research Services, a survey company engaged by Seattle Met. Healthcare practitioners licensed by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) in King, Snohomish, Kitsap and Pierce Counties were asked, “If you or a loved one needed care, whom would you choose?” Voters nominated their peers on elements that included years of experience, patient satisfaction and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across specialties to deliver the best patient care.
Results for SCCA doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners appear in the following table.
