About Glaucoma 360
Glaucoma 360 is a three-day series of events dedicated to speeding the development of new therapies and diagnostics for glaucoma patients. Glaucoma often has no symptoms in its early stages, yet it is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. More than 1,000 attendees are expected to participate in Glaucoma 360 events. The Annual Gala kicks off Glaucoma 360 on Thursday night, February 6, 2020.
Co-chaired by Michele and Steven Kirsch, the Annual Gala includes a reception, a dinner to celebrate the donors, volunteers, and scientists who have done so much to help advance the field of glaucoma research, and a matching gift opportunity as part of the live auction’s Fund-A-Scientist initiative. Glaucoma 360 continues on Friday, February 7th with the 9th Annual New Horizons Forum, a full-day meeting dedicated to innovations in glaucoma therapies and diagnostics. New Horizons will feature panelists and speakers from more than 60 companies and institutions. Glaucoma 360 concludes on Saturday, February 8th with two continuing medical education symposia for ophthalmologists and optometrists.
“Glaucoma 360 has become a significant catalyst in advancing new therapies to help patients preserve vision,” Mr. Brunner said. “We continually strive to do more to help glaucoma patients.” All proceeds from Glaucoma 360 support Glaucoma Research Foundation’s research and education programs.
