ASN Announces Inaugural Midcareer Award Winners

Washington, DC (November 10, 2019) — The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) is pleased to announce the winners of the new Midcareer Awards, which recognize nephrologists who have distinguished themselves in five key areas of accomplishment early in their careers.

ASN chose two winners each for the Distinguished Clinical Service Award, Distinguished Educator Award, Distinguished Leader Award, Distinguished Mentor Award, and Distinguished Researcher Award.

The criteria for each award include substantial contributions to and leadership in the area of accomplishment.

The inaugural winners are clinicians, researchers, and educators who represent a range of subspecialties within nephrology.
