Trump’s Claim that he has the support of Portland’s Sheriff is False

At the first debate between President Donald Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden, Donald Trump said, “I have Florida, I have Texas, I have Ohio, I have, excuse me, Portland. The sheriff just came out today and he said I support President Trump.”   

Sheriff Mike Reese tweeted on Tuesday night that he doesn’t back Trump.

“As the Multnomah County Sheriff I have never supported Donald Trump and will never support him.”
