- “Innovative Discharge Services,” presented by Shane, Hai Tran, PharmD, director of Drug Use Policy, and Donna Leang, PharmD, manager of Medication Safety, on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. PT.
- “Don’t Be Strangled by the Epidural Tubing Shortage: Switching Epidural Administration to a Large-Volume Intravenous Pump,” a case management study presented by Leang on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 12:30 p.m. PT.
- “TPA or TNK: Making the Choice When Time Is Brain,” presented by James Gilmore, PharmD, manager of Pharmacy for Critical Care and the Emergency Department, and Emergency Medicine Pharmacist Valerie San Luis, PharmD, on Monday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. PT.
Before the ASHP meeting, at the Vizient Pharmacy Network meeting in Las Vegas, Shane will receive the David A. Zilz Leadership Award on Saturday, Dec. 3. The honor is awarded to Vizient Pharmacy Network members who demonstrate vision, innovation, knowledge sharing, and sustained influence and contribution to the pharmacy community.
