“We are excited to receive this recognition, especially during such an unconventional year where the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many organizations and employees to adapt to new approaches to business operations and remote working,” said Paul Pomerantz, ASA CEO. “ASA is committed to elevating diversity and inclusion; health and wellness; communication and shared vision in the workplace. We congratulate the other organizations recognized and their efforts to create richer work environments.”
This year, the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) is releasing results for the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation from its spring, summer, fall, and winter application cycles. The summer Best and Brightest program honored 147 national winning organizations, including ASA, from across the country, out of 1,300 nominations. Winners will be recognized at NABR’s virtual Illuminate Business Summits held in October, 2020 and February, 2021.
Best and Brightest national winners are scored based on regional data of company performance and a set standard across the nation. This year’s winners raised the bar and scored above the benchmark in the following categories: Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; and Strategic Company Performance.
“Through the first half of 2020, the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For have demonstrated leadership and forward thinking as they pivoted their business and workforce through COVID-19. As the conversation and focus has shifted, our Best and Brightest winning companies have also been a voice for important actions regarding race. It is in these unique times, the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For excel and share their knowledge with others,” said Jennifer Kluge, president and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.
In July, ASA was also named a 2020 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in Chicago. This is the fourth year the Society has received the designation.
