Debra Chew is a former Epidemic Intelligence Officer for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and now is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and the Medical Director for Infection Prevention and Control at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
She and her team work together to investigate outbreaks within University Hospital in Newark and to prevent and control infections, particularly infections with potential to spread within the hospital, and emerging, new infectious threats.
