Innovative scientific research results ranging from maternal diets to sugar-sweetened beverages to bariatric surgery will be presented through oral and poster abstracts at the 37th Annual Meeting of The Obesity Society (TOS) at ObesityWeek®. The annual meeting will take place from Nov. 3-7, 2019, at Mandalay Bay South Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nev.
Scientists from across the globe will present the latest science in obesity research at the annual meeting. These communications provide notable exposure and recognition for studies and authors, and are likely to have a significant impact on obesity prevention and treatment.
“From early life exposure, to dietary choices later in life to molecular mechanisms and policy initiatives, ObesityWeek® 2019 is converging the latest advances from leading scientists around the world to further our understanding of obesity and to address its impact on health and quality of life,” said Paul MacLean, one of the program chairs for ObesityWeek®.
TOS’s program chairs haves selected a sampling of 15 top abstracts from the more than 750 abstracts that will be presented at the meeting.
Samples of the science that will be presented at the meeting, include:
