Webinar: The Pandemic and the Aviation Industry

Experts from academia, industry and government will discuss the impacts of the global coronavirus pandemic on air transportation in a NEXTOR-III Seminar, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020. Register via https://go.umd.edu/SJj.

The event, “Air Navigation Service Providers and Flight Operations” is part of a series presented by NEXTOR III, an eight-university consortium in aviation operations research sponsored by the FAA. Consortium members are Georgia Tech, George Mason University, MIT, Ohio State, Purdue, UC Berkeley, University of Maryland and Virginia Tech.

Hosting the discussion: Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research Michael Ball at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and Joseph Post of the University of South Florida.
