Kelly receives funding for digital humanities initiative

T. Mills Kelly, Professor, History and Art History and Director, Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media, received $20,000 from the Nonprofit Finance Fund for the: “Building Financial Resilience in the Digital Humanities Initiative.”

The goal of this project is to create more sustainable business models for digital humanities organizations like Mason’s Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media (RRCHNM). The project connects RRCHNM with five other digital humanities organizations, each with a different mission and business model, and the Nonprofit Finance Fund is leading all six organizations through a yearlong planning exercise focused on financial sustainability.

Funding for this project began in June 2020 and will end in late December 2022.
