Northwestern Medicine physicians, staff prepare to present at ASTRO 2019

CHICAGO – Sept. 13, 2019 –  Radiation oncologists and team members from the Northwestern Medicine Chicago Proton Center and Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center of Northwestern University at Northwestern Memorial Hospital will present research at the annual meeting for the American Society for Radiation Oncology from Sept. 15 to Sept. 18 in Chicago.

Dr. William Hartsell, medical director of the Northwestern Medicine Chicago Proton Center, will provide an oral presentation during the conference:

Radiation therapist Terri Bevelo will present the results of a study evaluating a smell that some patients notice during treatment of brain tumors.
