American Society for Nutrition Foundation Announces Class of 2021 Fellows

Rockville, MD (May 6, 2021) – The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) today announced the 15 individuals who will be inducted into its Class of 2021 Fellows. To be inducted as a Fellow of the Society is the highest honor ASN bestows, recognizing individuals for significant discoveries and distinguished careers in the field of nutrition. 

“It is a distinct honor to announce the individuals selected as Fellows of the American Society for Nutrition,” said ASN President, Lindsay Allen, PhD.  “As trailblazers in the field, these nutrition leaders are recognized for their lasting contributions, enabling us to further the mission of pursuing a healthier world through evidence-based nutrition. We celebrate them for their legacy and thank them for inspiring the next generation of global nutrition leaders.”

The ASN Class of 2021 Fellows will be honored leading up to and during ASN’s virtual meeting, NUTRITION 2021 LIVE ONLINE, June 7–10.  They will also be recognized at the Fellows, 50-Year Members and Past Presidents Luncheon during the American Society for Nutrition’s flagship meeting, Nutrition 2022. Members of this year’s class join more than 400 other ASN Fellows who have been recognized since the program began in 1952.
