Pediatric dentistry: Cheen Loo, DMD, chair and professor of pediatric dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, can talk about the importance of starting dental care early, introducing and maintaining good brushing and flossing habits, and other tips for avoiding cavities.
Braces: Shankar Venugopalan, DDS, chair and professor of orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, can talk about orthodontic work in kids and what parents (and kids) need to know about braces, retainers, and more.
Pediatric dental trauma: Zameera Fida, DMD, chair and associate professor of endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, can discuss emergency preparedness for and how to handle potential dental injuries in kids caused by falls or other trauma.
