Loyola Medicine Names New Vice President of Finance, Academic

MAYWOOD, IL – Manmeet S. (Mani) Taneja, CPA, CHFP, has been named vice president of Finance – Academic for Loyola Medicine, effective December 2, 2019.

In this role, Taneja will direct and oversee the financial operations in clinical programs at Loyola University Medical Center.

Taneja has 17 years’ experience in finance leadership. He previously served as director of Finance. Prior to his position at University of Chicago Medicine, he served as deputy budget director in the Office of Budget and Management for the City of Chicago.

“Mani will provide Loyola with a wealth of knowledge,” said Daniel P. Isacksen, regional chief financial officer of Loyola Medicine. “His past success in finance leadership is impressive, and I anticipate he will be a vital member of our team at Loyola.”

Taneja received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Delhi in India. He earned his MBA from Loyola University Chicago and completed the Executive Education Program from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. Taneja is also a registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Chicago Health Executives Forum, American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
