Hackensack Meridian Health Celebrates One-Year Anniversary of Circle of Compassion Team Member Financial Assistance Program

Hackensack Meridian Health is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Circle of Compassion program, which provides timely and equitable financial assistance to team members affected by a disaster or emergent, personal monetary hardship. Through the generosity of donors and 100% of Hackensack Meridian Health’s senior leadership team, more than $3 million has been raised, with over $2.3 million being awarded to date to 1,960 team members impacted by COVID-19 and other challenges.

Jersey Shore University Medical Center Foundation to Host Annual Golf Classic on July 12

Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center Foundation will host a golf outing on Monday, July 12 at Deal Golf & Country Club and Hollywood Golf Club in Deal. Funds raised from the event will support Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s continued growth, including the creation of a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary Neuroscience Institute and the renovation and expansion of the cardiovascular interventional procedure rooms.

Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation Raises Nearly $150,000 at Golf Outing

On May 3, Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation raised nearly $150,000 at a golf outing that took place at Manasquan River Golf Club in Brielle in support of the Emergency Department expansion project taking place at Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center. Nearly 100 golfers participated in the event, which followed all CDC, state and local safety guidelines.

Jersey Shore University Medical Center Foundation Receives $24,000 Quality of Life Grant from Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation for Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) Devices

Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center Foundation is proud to announce that it has been awarded $24,000 as part of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation National Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) 2020 2nd Cycle Direct Effect Quality of Life grants. Fifty-one grants totaling $925,492 were awarded. The Quality of Life Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations that empower individuals living with paralysis. Since the Quality of Life Grants Program’s inception, more than 3,300 grants totaling over $32 million have been awarded. Funding for this new cycle of grants were made possible through a cooperative agreement with the Administration for Community Living (ACL grant #90PRRC0002-03-00).

Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation Hosting Golf Outing on May 3

Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation will host a golf outing on May 3 at Manasquan River Golf Club in Brielle in support of the Emergency Department expansion project taking place at Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center. The golf outing will follow all CDC, state and local guidelines and is being planned in conjunction with Hackensack Meridian Health clinicians to ensure the safety of guests.

Hackensack Meridian Health Establishes Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation

Hackensack Meridian Health, the largest, most comprehensive and integrated health care network in New Jersey, today announced the formation of Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation. The newly created foundation will serve as the parent organization for the network’s 10 community-based hospital foundations. In addition to raising funds for the network’s local medical centers, Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation will also focus on network-wide priorities such as behavioral health, children’s health, the Hackensack Meridian Center for Discovery & Innovation and the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Hackensack Meridian Health has launched the Circle of Compassion program, which provides compassionate, timely and equitable financial assistance to team members affected by a disaster or personal monetary hardship. Built on the existing team member financial assistance programs available through two of the network’s philanthropic entities, Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation (Colleague to Colleague Fund) and Meridian Health Foundation (When in Need Fund), the Circle of Compassion program was developed in quick response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the financial health of team members throughout Hackensack Meridian Health.
