Augustana announced today its Viking Flex Plan for Fall Semester 2020, with classes set to begin on campus in late August. The university plans to proceed with a hybrid/flexible approach, which will include both face-to-face and virtual components to most courses, and reflects a commitment to in-person curricular and co-curricular experiences for the university’s students.
Augustana has named Dr. Anissa Goehring as its inaugural Director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program. The university announced in November of 2019 it would be adding an MBA degree to its graduate education portfolio, building upon the quality education provided by the business department while also supporting the university’s comprehensive strategic plan – Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030.
Augustana University undergraduate Audrey Cope ‘21 is one of just 62 college students nationwide to receive the prestigious 2020 Truman Scholar Award, the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation announced Wednesday evening. Cope is the tenth Augustana student to win the award in the university’s history and is the first to be honored since 2005.
