Staying safe on Pandemic Halloween

Shanina Knighton, an instructor and hygiene researcher at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, was among the first experts to sound the alarm on hand-washing when she did a 10-part Twitter thread on hygiene very early in the pandemic. Knighton’s most recent project, a series of hygiene infographics designed especially for communities of color, has been handed out recently in some of the city’s neighborhoods by nursing students. The guides are also featured on the YWCA of Greater Cleveland website. 

That project lends itself nicely to her advice on how to stay safe this Pandemic Halloween.
