UrduRoss Baker, distinguished professor of political science at Rutgers University–New Brunswick and an expert on American politics, is available to discuss how the coronavirus will impact the 2020 presidential election.
Baker is a former research associate at the Brookings Institution. He has served as a consultant and resident scholar for Democrats in the House and Senate.
“Democrats need to push a counter-narrative to the head-in-the-sand line adopted by the President and to heap praise on those civil servants fighting the virus who Trump has condemned as the “deep state.” The weak and confused response to the Coronavirus by the administration is the blockbuster issue in the 2020 campaign,” Baker said.
