RNCB Names Bryan Medical Center 2020 Advocacy Award Winner

Yesterday, the Rehabilitation Nursing Certification Board (RNCB) announced the recipient of the 2nd annual RNCB Advocacy Award during REACH 2020, ARN’s Annual Educational Conference taking place virtually this week, October 20-22.

RNCB launched the Advocacy Award in 2019 to recognize healthcare organizations that advocate for Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN®) certification and provide support to and recognition of certified staff.

The 2nd Advocacy Award was presented to Bryan Medical Center, Inpatient Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. The center demonstrates incredible dedication to CRRN certification by supporting a culture of certification, encouraging initial as well as ongoing certification, and recognizing certified staff. Overall, 25% of the unit’s RNs are CRRN certified. Eighty percent of the leadership team holds CRRN certification, with 100% of day charge nurses and 33% of night charge nurses being CRRN certified.

Congratulations to Bryan Medical Center, Inpatient Rehabilitation Center on this achievement!
