Merchandising expert available to comment on sustainable fashion for Earth Day

From carbon emissions to unwanted clothing going to the landfill, the fashion industry is among the most polluting on the planet. Earth Day presents an opportunity for consumers to more critically consider the ramifications of the wardrobes they maintain.

Mary Embry is available to comment on sustainable fashion, strategies for conscious consumption, and fashion recycling and reuse. Embry is director of undergraduate studies and senior lecturer in merchandising at the Indiana University Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design.
