Lecturer at Buffalo State College available to comment on Supreme Court decision protecting LGBTQ workers

Dr. Greg Rabb, a lecturer in the Political Science and Public Administration Department at Buffalo State College, is available to speak on the historic 6-3 Supreme Court of the United States decision today on LGBTQ rights.

Rabb created the LGBTQ politics undergraduate course at Buffalo State more than a decade-ago, which was one of the only courses of its kind offered on a WNY-based campus. Rabb can also speak to historical precedent, as he has been on the frontlines fighting for LGBTQ rights nationally and in New York for many years. He’s also performed many same-sex marriages in his previous capacity as a Jamestown City councilman.

Rabb has been recognized for his teaching, community service, and commitment to social justice with the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, Embrace WNY, Stonewall Democrats of WNY, Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME), Gay and Lesbian Youth Services of Western New York, 2018 Honorary Chair, and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Jamestown.
