Kasm Server 1.7.0 contains a number of changes including Web Filtering based on domain blacklists/whitelists, URL categorization and enforcement of Safe Search. Peripheral support has been enhanced with support for microphone passthrough. Additionally, administrators can now limit usage of users and groups and create custom integrations via a Developer API.
“Kasm Server 1.7.0 represents our movement into the Enterprise Solutions market” said Justin Travis, CEO of Kasm Technologies. “The new web filtering capabilities allow administrators to restrict web services to the websites and applications that are authorized for use. Additionally, the usage limits allow service provider customer to restrict usage at both the individual and group level for their customers.“
“We were pleased to add additional support for microphone pass-thru.” said Matt McClaskey, CTO of Kasm Technologies. “We continue to add new features to our Kasm Disposables SaaS offering and audio support was at the top of our user requests.”
