Introducing TVT connect

NEW YORK – May 22, 2020 – The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) has announced that TVT Connect, the Structural Heart Summit, will take place online June 18-28, 2020. TVT Connect features expertly developed series, late-breaking clinical science, challenging cases, industry-sponsored sessions, and connection to a community of thought leaders from across the globe.

“We transformed our annual Transcatheter Valve Therapies (TVT) meeting into a specially designed virtual program, TVT Connect, to give participants access to practical and carefully curated content at a time when we cannot meet in person,” said Juan F. Granada, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of CRF. “CRF has always been on the leading edge of innovation and using technology to deliver exceptional education. We’re excited to bring attendees a virtual experience that will elevate their skill set and give them access to master operators in the field.”

TVT Connect is practical course featuring the latest research and cutting-edge techniques for structural heart interventions. For more than 10 years, TVT has provided healthcare professionals with the latest advances, tools, and techniques for the treatment of valvular heart disease using nonsurgical procedures. Course Highlights:

• Five series will be broadcast via three hours of daily programming over 10 days. Attendees can tune into scheduled programming at specific times each day or watch on-demand after the original broadcast. Each series will focus on transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral interventions, tricuspid Interventions, left atrial appendage (LAA) closure, or patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure.
• Late-breaking clinical science will be presented during two episodes moderated by the editors of
  
  Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions
  
  and
  
  JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions
  
  . Each topic series and late-breaking science episode will host live wrap-up and Q&A sessions.
• PCR and CRF will collaborate on Partners in Learning sessions to be broadcast during the PCR e-Course and TVT Connect.
• A series of special episodes will also cover structural heart disease during the COVID-19 pandemic and predictions for the field’s future.
