Bankruptcy filing by Purdue Pharma not likely to protect Sackler Family

On Sunday, Purdue Pharma, the company that made billions from the sale of OxyContin, filed for bankruptcy days after reaching a tentative settlement with many of the state and local governments suing it over the toll of opioids. Indiana University experts are available to speak about what the filing means for Pharma employees, the Sackler family and the ongoing lawsuits.
